The Challenge

At Malvern CYCC, we offer temporary care for children in need, striving to create a warm, homely environment where they can thrive. Our kitchens play a vital role in this mission, nourishing 77 children and staff members every day. Yet, outdated facilities have long hindered our ability to provide the best possible care. That's why we've partnered with Roux Renovators to revitalize all seven of our kitchens, beginning with the Kameeldoring cottage. This upgrade was long overdue — the cupboards were worn and faded, the sink was crumbling, and the tiling had seen better days. Roux Renovators brought their expertise to the project, meticulously planning every detail. They gutted the old setup and installed sleek new cupboards topped with durable granite surfaces, built to withstand the hustle and bustle of a busy household full of energetic children. This transformation not only enhances functionality but also ensures a safe, inviting space that supports our commitment to nurturing young lives.
